
Leadership Conference Highlights
Chapter of the Year Competition
This award recognizes the outstanding achievement of K-8, High School, Tribal College and University student chapters in the advancement of the objectives and overall mission of the American Indian Business Leaders' organization.
AIBL Business Plan Competition
The AIBL Business Plan Competition aims to facilitate entrepreneurship and provide the AIBL membership with the opportunity to acquire experience in planning and running an actual business venture. Sixty percent of AIBL Chapters run their own businesses.
Recruiters Event
The AIBL recruiter’s event is a unique forum that allows recruiters to not only gain tangible internship and career placement results, but also to assist with retention efforts after placement. Current AIBL student recruiters include corporations such as IBM, Nike, and IRS, as well as educational institutions such as Harvard University and Gonzaga University.
AIBL Student Leader of the Year Award
This award recognizes an AIBL student member who exhibits the qualities of a true "leader" in providing guidance and direction to AIBL students as a group. Student peers nominate the person they view as a leader.
AIBL Advisor of the Year Award
This award recognizes an AIBL advisor who has made himself or herself available to support the activities and efforts of the student chapter. The student chapter members must view this person, as going above and beyond what is expected of an advisor.
